I have a dream…
that one day my children, their children and their grandchildren
shall all embrace this nation as their god-given home
and not some rented shack we choose to leave
when the cracks start appearing …
I have a dream…
that one day, my little boys and girls shall be judged
not by the accent in their voices but by the sparkle in their eyes;
not by the surnames of their forefathers but by the aura of their deeds…
and once again, we shall all be free to accept each other
as divine blessings to complete our beautiful family.
I have a dream…
that one day, every grandmother, her daughter and her granddaughter
shall all live within a breath of each other,
weaving monuments of love to leave behind,
just like those temples and the ‘chautaris’,
the gompas and the ‘mithila’ arts of the past
I still have a dream …
that one day, leaders of our nation shall be judged
not by the herds of their followers, but by the virtue of leaders they build;
that our children shall brave this world
no longer as fearless mercenaries but as bold citizens
I have this dream
that once again, “guests will be gods”,
rivers will be holy,
villages shall be young,
and our smiles will again be for real…
And I have this final dream …
that one day far from now,
I shall walk down my lush coffee hill top gardens,
to find strangers and friends from afar,
sipping while staring at the mists below,
and each time, these wrinkled hands joyfully join in,
to salute the spirit in you,
“Namaste!”
I have a dream …
– inspired by Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream”

“I have a dream ujjwal bro make 100 more ujjwal so that nepal be nice and bright very soon before we die.”
I don’t know what ur Ujjwal bro is doing right now and we need Nepal prosperous in every aspects and “Nepal be nice” No ! it is already nice, and Nepalese should be nice not Nepal !!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Dpes read out the full conversation of Sonia.Namaste’s and mine that what she dreams and gave me the examples of her dreams.
And if you understand the meaning of dream, then you won’t point me. I have respect to each and every persons. And why should I respect others cheap cheap opinions n views.
And could you plz elaborate the meaning of dream that you dreams for a single person like yathartha
And may be you cheap that you didnot understand a simple converastion and there is no any strength in ur words and ur judgement because you cannot judge the best.
Thank you 😉 Nepal will be bright and prosperous before you and I die.
Ujwal
“नेपाल हाम्रो घर हो, डेरा होईन”
Chaudhary bro ur dream might be non sense not her,so better watch ur word.I have a dream narrow mind person like u be open minded and respect other opinion n views.
I have a dream ujjwal bro make 100 more ujjwal so that nepal be nice and bright very soon before we die.
I have a dream people stop complaining about our leaders and try to be the one they dream of.
Thanks for dreaming for our country ! All the best 🙂
This a called a real dream which one should have and I am really
impressed with you because being a foreigner you are dreaming for we
people. Where people of our country didn’t dreams for others.
yes, you have right. So my social dream is freedom for women. Nepali women and world’s women 🙂
Nepal is a great country and I wish the best for it, the best
This is another social dream! 🙂
The meaning of love is different in different relation, yeah ! there
must be affaction for each other in society. For women empowerment its
true, but not a single woman/man should cry for his/her loved one’s
that your friend’s did !
One should compromise if
he/she want for his/her existence otherwise he/she will can’t fit to
this nature and society
and dreaming for “the name of person, of
boy or man with whom spend her life” its doesn’t satisfy because in my
point of view dream is not a personal think , dream should be suitable
for the society/country, that when a person hears your dream he/she will
be proud of you.
As i know you are not a Nepali citizen !
thanks for dreaming for Nepalese women 🙂
Hopes your dream comes true
Don’t worry. I think that love is not only passion. I think that it is transitory like our body but in this present life is necessary in our social system. So I dream the good freedom, freedom to choiche and think about one good social and economic future for nepali female. It is very big and hard dream but is a dream. One mode to improve today is choice the best way to do the best so in the future we will not cry. 🙂
if hurts my word, then sorry ! dear
make your thought mature dear SONIA ! love is not a dream, it is a passion, and passion is transitory, and if you like suggestion, I would like to suggest you not to be cheap; be bold yourself and make others bold with positive thinking.
IMPROVE TODAY DONOT CRY FOR TOMARROW!
Keep dreaming Sonia. There is nothing wrong. We all have our own dreams 🙂
Why shame? I didn’t understand your comment. Why shame?
Because a friend cry for days and days? Not all nepali girls (and boy) could choiche and you know. It is sad. Yes, is tradition but is very sad. When You will see the disperation in the eyes of one your friend that want continue to study and has a future….yes, this is the country’s development. And this word come from one person that love Nepal more than all possible things. There is no shame in true love, in freedom to BE!
I dream that Nepal will became one great country that will show to the world how is possible change and have good development. A great country that can show the big heart and soul in nepali people, a great people that, when they want, they can have all best things.
“I HAVE A DREAM” that all the Nepalese youths be in the shade of IT,
their rights and emotions be in their palm, their choices for the
country’s development be in their favour. They should breathe the air with their own smell in right way !
What a non-sense dream ! shame on you ! ( SONIA.NAMASTE)
